It’s an exciting time to be studying Computing; each child undertakes a discrete lesson, where their skills are then applied throughout the curriculum using a variety of devices, including laptop, iPads and phones.

We nurture the children’s inquisitiveness from the history of computing to the complexity of how the internet operates. Topical animations are created, using an assortment resources, and shown during assemblies.

In Computer Science, the children will engage in a variety of programming languages where they will be encouraged to take risks with their learning in order to develop the confidence to think critically to problems solve. They will develop the skills critical users of the internet, with additional support from our child-led E-safety Crew, and ensure that they are making safe choices online
